Meet The Students

I decided to study to be a Software Developer because as the world becomes increasingly digitized, people with a tech background are in need.
My biggest two strengths are creative thinking and teamwork with other people. As a student that learned Business Studies, I know the benefit of creativity. I always try to think of original and innovative ideas, and when something is difficult I try to break it down into smaller challenges so I can understand it. I strongly believe in teamwork, because I could know something that my other colleagues don't know and they could understand something that I don't, and with teamwork we will come up with the best ideas. A growth area for me is verbal communication, but I'm doing my best to ease myself out of my comfort zone and am practicing presenting whenever possible.
I live with my mother, father, and two siblings. I am usually drawing when I'm not coding. What I love about coding is that I get to solve problems and challenge myself by learning new features of code.

I was born in a small village called Moeka near Hammanskraal, and I am currently living in Olievenhoutbosch. I live with my grandmother Joyce, and my two sisters.
I joined The Coding Ground because I was interested in learning coding. I wanted to try it, so that I could improve my knowledge about coding and other areas related to the internet. I love coding because you can create something that can be extremely useful to people and that can make their life and work easier. I also enjoy applying myself to new skills. I enjoy creating something that did not exist before, e.g a robot.
When I am not coding you will find me watching films, like the inspirational of Black Panther film. I enjoy this film because it speaks about black empowerment. It encourages black people to know that they are worth it, and they have a place in the world, with a superhero to look up to like Black Panther. It inspires me to be a hero to myself and my family.

I was born in Limpopo and joined TCG with the dream of developing myself to become a full stack software developer.
Analytical skills and creative thinking are the two things that I consider to be my greatest strengths, because I enjoy breaking down complex problems into smaller components and examining each part separately.
I live with my mother, my dad, and my brother at Riverside view. When I am not coding you will find me organizing chess tournaments that help to keep kids off the streets and learn something that requires critical thinking.
My joy of coding lies in the ability to create something unique and shape it according to my vision. The constant exposure to new challenges keeps the field of coding exciting and dynamic. It is a rewarding journey that allows me to continuously learn and grow.

I’m a first year student at The Coding Ground. By the end of my studies I aspire to be an expert in software, cloud and hardware development.
I was born in a village in Limpopo, South Africa. I was then brought up among varying cultures around the nation and beyond. I have always had a passion to create, from making toy cars as a child to making music as a teen, now what I make with code can create a brighter world.
My upbringing has led me to becoming a diligent worker, with my sights set on excellence. One of the best values that I possess is my extraordinary imagination. I use it to find unconventional, yet impressive solutions to perplexing problems. Another valuable trait I have is my ambition. I always want to make the best of any situation and idea, whatever grand objective or scheme one may have in mind, I can aim higher.
In my short career in IT, I have received HTML and CSS certificates within two months of commencing my courses.
